The Livney+Partners Board of Advisors is a talented group of successful and motivated leaders with experience in strategic marketing, entrepreneurship, managing public organizations and venture capital. Our management team consults with the Board of Advisors for insight and ideas for the firm and clients.

Amy Brown

Amy Brown is a senior executive with 19 years of experience in the hi-tech industry. She gained her expertise running large operations in two large public companies and honed her skills in small businesses in start-up companies. Amy has actively led three public offering efforts. Two of these led to acquisitions where she managed the integration and absorption of the new company. At Geode Partners, she now works directly with emerging companies by providing advice and strategy necessary for corporate direction, infrastructure management, corporate structure continuity, private and public equity placements, board of director and advisory board composition and regulatory requirements, employee equity plans, technology licensing, financial management, GCL and D&O requirements, human resource management and law, and long term corporate strategy.

Prior to Geode, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Q Strategies, Inc., a software and professional services provider in the business intelligence and e-commerce fields. She assisted in building the company from 40 people when she joined to 160. Her efforts also included a corporate strategy and negotiations for sale of IP of the company and the company's restructure into a software provider. She oversaw the finance, legal, internal operations (including 5 offices), IT, and HR organizations.

Prior to Q Strategies, Amy was Vice President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of InterWorld Corporation, an enterprise e-commerce software company. She planned and completed several rounds of private equity infusion as well as a successful public offering in 1999. She was in charge of all product and services licensing, employee equity programs, IP protection, insurance, collections and employee litigation matters.

Prior to InterWorld, she was Director of Field Operations and Legal Affairs for a division of Sybase Inc. called InformationConnect. She led the acquisition efforts of MicroDecisionware, Inc., by Sybase and was instrumental in the growth of the connectivity and replication server business of Sybase from $50M to $255M in three years by managing field sales operations, chairing the Sybase Pricing Committee, and managing special BOD projects intended to increase revenue. She actively led rounds of private equity during her time at MDI.

Prior to that, Amy held the position of Director of Operations and Legal Affairs for Precision Visuals, Inc., a graphics software company. During her tenure, she concluded two GSA contracts and managed manufacturing and distribution of the company's software products. She then prepared the company for a pubic offering that concluded in an acquisition by Visual Numerics, Inc. which was preceded by numerous rounds of private equity infusion.

Prior to PVI, she worked for AT&T during its divestiture period. She held various positions from sales to managing multi-million dollar budgets and technology divestiture strategy for the Information Services division.

Amy received her Bachelor of Science from the Colorado Women's College, Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver; and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business. She belongs to various professional societies and organizations, is a certified STARTech mentor, a Menttium Mentor, a partner in RiverRock Partners (an equity firm specializing in the acquisition and growth of technology companies), serves on the Boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas, the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Dallas, the Neeley Entrepreneurship Program at Texas Christian University, and the Professional Women's Council of Ursuline Academy of Dallas. She is also active on panel discussions relative to various emerging company issues.

Ash Ryan Huzenlaub

Ash R. Huzenlaub is the Managing Director of Ashco Group, LLC, a firm that through investor sponsorship, participates in board representation, the acquisition and development of new enterprises, serves as interim management, and aids in the turnaround of distressed business situations. From 2002-2006, Ash was installed by investors as the turnaround Chairman and CEO of Emergisoft Corporation, an emergency room software company he, through investors, initiated taking private. During his tenure, both the revenues and client base of the business more than tripled while operating costs were reduced by 40%. By 2006, the company was contracted to process the electronic emergency room medical records of over 800,000 patients a year in hospital systems from California to New York. Prior to Emergisoft, Ash worked with Berlwood Five Ltd, a Texas-based private equity investment partnership.

Ash holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance & Marketing with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Texas Christian University. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center at Texas Christian University. He and his wife, Christina, live near Seattle, Washington, where he is a member of the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network.

John Landsbaum

John Landsbaum brings 16 years of experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, culminating as a Regional Vice President and Officer in this Fortune 250 privately held company. While with Enterprise, John won numerous awards for sales and growing his business operations. He further honed his sales, operations, management and leadership skills as the Principal of Landsbaum and Associates - a consulting firm focused on the needs of small and midsized companies. He also served as Vice President of Global Business Operations for a start-up IT firm, ITERSource.

John's expertise covers business growth, development and expansion, sales and marketing planning and execution, human resources recruiting and benefits, employee training, development and evaluation. He also brings proficiency in turn-around management, process improvement and P&L experience. John is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia.
